From Grove to Export — Verified Tunisian Olive Oil.

FarmOptima combines precision irrigation advisory with a QR-linked batch passport and traceability system — giving mills and exporters documented proof of origin, agronomic practices, and quality at every stage of the olive oil supply chain.

Tree Crops Are Being Irrigated by Habit, Not Science.

Across Tunisia and the MENA region, olive groves, date palm plantations, and pistachio farms lose 30-40 % of their irrigation water every season, not from drought, but from imprecision. Most farmers apply water based on calendar schedules or visual observation. No tool exists that speaks to them in Arabic, at their scale, at their price point.

How It Works

1. Onboarding

Farmer registers via WhatsApp. Farm data collected once: crop, soil type, GPS, irrigation system.

2. Weather Fetch

Real-time meteorological data retrieved daily per farm via GPS coordinates.

3. FAO-56 Calculation

Evapotranspiration, crop coefficients, and soil constants processed automatically.

4. Daily Delivery

Personalized advisory sent every morning at 06:00 via WhatsApp in Arabic.

Built on Agronomic Science and Modern Infrastructure.

FarmOptima’s engine is built on the FAO-56 Penman-Monteith evapotranspiration model: the global gold standard for irrigation science. Real-time weather data is processed daily per farm. The automation stack runs 24/7 on a dedicated server, integrated with the WhatsApp Business API. A machine learning pipeline is in active development, targeting the first genuinely MENA-specific agronomic AI dataset: 100 farms and 365 days of daily precision data.

B2B Partnership

Mills and exporters pay for batch passport and traceability services. Farmers receive free irrigation and agronomic advisory — funded through the mill partnership model.

B2B API – Year 2

Agronomic intelligence as a service: sold to institutional clients including agricultural banks, insurers, input distributors, and public agencies seeking data-driven decision support for irrigated agriculture.

MENA Expansion

Following successful deployment in Tunisia, FarmOptima will expand progressively across the MENA region: targeting markets with large irrigated surface areas, high WhatsApp penetration, and strong food security agendas.
